About Malangapara KCB Institution (H.S.)

          The school was founded by Late sri Panchanan Bakshi, renowned Personality of this Swarupnagar Block in the year 1931.The school is named after The great barrister and educationist Late Sri Kailash Chandra Bhattacharya. These two great thinkers dreamt for a great environment of learning teaching and development of children of this area. Later people interested in education continued the journey to form the institution, the most popular and largest one among the Swarupnagar area and Malangapara K C B Institution (H.S) is also the most renowned Institute in Basirhat Subdivision. Carrying out traditional urge and demands of the people’s emotional bondage the institute has become a centre of academic excellence, cultural activity and sports activity. We are going to build a dinning. hall for mid day meal. We have plan for Rain water harvesting plant and solar system for alternative electricity.

          This campus is located in Rural area, in SWARUPNAGAR block of NORTH TWENTY FOUR PARGANA district of West Bengal. The school consists of Grades from V to XII. The school is Co-educational and it has an attached uper-primary section. Bengali is the medium of instructions in this school. In this school academic session starts in January.
          The school has Government building. It has got 45 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has three other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a separate room for Head master/Teacher. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Hand Pumps and it is functional. The school has 1 boys toilet and it is functional. and 1 girls toilet and it is functional. The school has a playground. The school has 15 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The school is Provided and Prepared in School Premises providing mid-day meal.

In order to fulfill the mission of our School with dedication and sincerity, the school Governing Body, composed of all stakeholders, functions democratically and implements policies conducive to building a healthy academic environment in keeping with the policies of Education Dept. The HM, as Head of the institution, takes all decisions in consultation with the MC members and implements the plans with active cooperation of teachers, non-teaching staff and students. The school has several committees under the president ship of the HM, for smooth functioning of academic and administrative affairs. The well-coordinated administrative and academic functioning help to achieve our stated goals and the School authority undertakes periodic assessment of the developments. Special emphasis is given on the enrichment of the faculty and the clarifications of doubts of students as well as the timely redressed of their grievances. All efforts are made to make the education learner-centric and learning joyful as well as related to employability of the learners. The community outreach programmes are given due importance as those create a living bond between the institution and the community.

Rules & Regulations

1) Attending students should attend the prayer meeting 15 minutes before the school starts every day.

2) School cannot be left after the commencement of class without the permission of the Class Teacher / Assistant Head Teacher / Head Teacher.

3) Clean environment and cleanliness of the school should be maintained.

4) Students should wear the school uniform.

5) Light blue-white check-shirt and blue pants for students of class V to VIII and Girls light blue-white check-shirt and blue skirt. 9th to 10th class students white Shirt and blue pants and female students should wear white salwar kameez and blue veil.

6) The time of Attesting to the Headmaster is from 12.30pm to 2.00pm.

7) In case of absence, the letter of the guardian must be brought.

8) If there is any kind of complaint, opinion of the guardian, it should be reported in writing to the head teacher and management committee.

9) Principal or Deputy Principal if parents have any complaint against the teacher Must inform the teacher.

10) It is imperative that students participate in all school observances, educational events, each stage of sequential assessment and annual examinations and tests.

11) Attendance of 70% is mandatory for appearing in secondary and higher secondary examinations.

12)       a) Adopting unfair means in examination, breach of rules and regulations and causing damage to the financial resources and interest of the school shall be considered punishable offences. Financial penalty may be imposed if necessary and considering the circumstances.

  1. b) Students should discuss their problems in ‘Teacher Student Forum’.

13) Attendance of parents in school house parent meetings and parents need to be concerned about the reading of students.

14) It is recommended that the parents keep in touch with the school every 15 days.

15) In no way can students come to school with mobile phones. Otherwise the phone will be confiscated.

16) To show respect to the teachers of every student and The reputation of the school should be maintained.

17) In case of failure in any class for two consecutive years, an opportunity to study in that class for one more year will be given on the basis of the application of the parent.

18) Application form of guardian is required for getting transfer or any important certificate.

19) The annual school fee must be paid within the first three months.

20) Students studying in the school office must come in uniform.

21) If the progress report of the previous class or the school diary of the current year is lost, it must be collected again with the permission of the headmaster and if necessary, in exchange of financial penalty.
